Milica Šarić from Bosnia and Herzegovina
Working at CINS since 2012 as investigative journalist and fact-checker. Investigated money laundering, bad privatizations, energy and environmental issues, private security, financing of political parties and judiciary. In 2017 got the European Union award for the best young investigative journalist in Serbia in 2016; was either author or fact-checker of stories that won European Press Prize (EPP) for investigative journalism and the WJP Anthony Lewis Prize for Exceptional Rule of Law Journalism. Also part of the team given the journalist award Dušan Bogavac for ethics and courage, and the award Contribution of the Year to Europe in 2017. As fact-checker contributes to OCCRP, and occasionally works as external assessor for the IFCN. Holds trainings on fact-checking and investigative journalism skills.
