The fact-check methodology is explained, corrections are indicated when such interventions are made in the text. It is quite visible to the reader that Krypometer is part of Internews Kosova which is a legally registered non-governmental organization in Kosovo. It is also clear that Krypometer is established exclusively for fact-checking of public statements given by public officials.
In the last three months (September - November 2018), the applicant has published in total 28 fact-checking reports. There are cases when more than one fact-check report per week has been published at krypometer.com. Krypometer website is an extension of the main website kallxo.com. The main entry features the last 13 reports. At the end of the page there is the "More" option, which displays the next 12 reports and so on. There is no separate archive for krypometer. Kallxo.com has one general archive for all reports.
The factchecking principles:
Words matter – we pay particular attention to the way a claim is formulated. Is it a precise declaration? Does the declaration contain facilitating words or phrases?
Context matters – we check the declarations in their full context, the comments made before and after the declaration, the questions which brought the declaration and the purpose that the person wanted to achieve through this declaration.
Burden of proof – People who make the factual declarations are responsible for their declaration and should be able to provide evidence to support these declarations. We will try to verify these declarations, but we believe that the burden of proof falls on the person who makes the declaration.
Declarations can be right and wrong – sometimes, we evaluate declarations that could contain two or more factual declarations. In such cases, we will evaluate the truthfulness of the entire declaration after checking the individual parts of it.
Time – Our evaluation is done on the time when the declaration was made and the information that was accessible at the time.

In the last three months, Krypometer has published in total 28 reports that evaluate distinct claims made by high-level politicians. The thematic focus of selected claims is quite relevant to the society. The reporting appears to be nonpartisan and fact-based. Direct links to the sources are usually provided in each report. A separate box containing links to the purpose and methodology of Krypometer, is visible all the time on the right side of the website. The explanation of its policy is quite clear.
Our organizations have rules of conduct which are signed by the staff upon signing a contract, which prohibit involvement in political parties, and require notifying of third party relations in case of conflicts of interest.
Attached are the documents proving this such as statute, declarations and regulations.
The applicant adheres to the principle of not non partisanship. These policies are mentioned in the following documents: The Statute of Internews Kosova, Internews Kosova Ethics and Code of Conducts, Statement of Principles, and Confidentiality Declaration. "All assessments are open for discussion and criticism from our readership and all stakeholders. At the same time, all assessments can be updated once new facts come to light.
To a large extent, the success of this project also depends on you – our readers and viewers. We shall rely on the public to suggest statements made by politicians, interest groups, and the media so that we can inspect them and see whether they are based on facts. We welcome any comments and suggestions, which can be submitted by using the @krypometer on Facebook and Twitter. The final goal of this project is not to tell someone that they are lying, but to lower the level of deception and manipulation from people who hold power".

Overall, Krypomenter provides sufficient information about the source of the claim, which in some cases comes from outside sources (other media) and in other cases it comes from reporting done by the organization itself. The organization provides an explanation to the readers on how they can send claims to fact-check, and if a report has been corrected, this is mentioned at the end of the report. There are no statistics on the frequency of reader-submitted fact checks being published. There is a section containing letters to the editor, which contains six letters. When this assessment was initially done, none of the letters could open, but the technical error has since been addressed.
The website has a clear explanation about the correction policy and the timeframe of 48 hours for addressing the complain. In some cases, full text of complain is included in the main report. Each corrected report, shows it clearly that a correction has been made.
